The service

SpendixAI is an expense-tracking service. You can import or enter transactions, organise receipts and accounts, categorise spending, build reports and, if you choose, connect an AI assistant. Features may change as the service develops.

Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
  • You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the security of that Google account and for everything done through your SpendixAI account.
  • Give accurate information and tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.

Your data

You keep ownership of the financial records, files and other content you put into SpendixAI. You give us a limited licence to host, process and display it, and to send the parts needed to the providers who help us run the service, only to provide the service to you as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data as the service allows.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you add, including statements and receipts, and that doing so does not break the law or anyone’s rights.

Acceptable use

  • Do not break the law, or use the service to handle money or information you are not entitled to.
  • Do not try to gain access to another person’s workspace or to systems we run, or probe or disrupt the service.
  • Do not use automated means to place an unreasonable load on the service, or to copy it.
  • Do not upload malicious files.

We may suspend or restrict an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk.

AI-generated and automatic results

Categories, insights, summaries and answers produced by automation or AI, including through a connected assistant, can be incomplete or wrong. Imported figures depend on the files you provide. Review them before you rely on them.

SpendixAI provides tools and information, not advice. GST, input tax credit, deduction and other tax figures are estimates based on the categories and rates you set. Check them with the original invoices and a qualified professional before you file a return or make a claim.

Plans and payment

SpendixAI has a Free plan. Paid plans, when offered, will show their price before you buy, and prices are in Indian rupees unless we say otherwise. If we introduce or change charges, we will give notice before the change applies to you.

Third-party services

The service works with third parties such as Google for sign-in and the AI assistants you connect. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SpendixAI available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we make a change that significantly affects you, we will tell you.

Ending your use

You can stop using SpendixAI at any time and can delete your workspace from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Parts of these terms that are meant to continue, such as the limits on liability, will continue after your access ends.

Our rights

SpendixAI, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them except to use the service as described here.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not make promises about it beyond those in these terms, including that it will meet your needs or that results will be accurate.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, SpendixAI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, savings or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service, if any, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of competent jurisdiction in India will decide any dispute that cannot be settled by discussion.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the service or by email. If you keep using SpendixAI after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
