
Reports are most useful when they answer a question you actually have. The Report library collects 25 of them, grouped by who would ask. Each is built from your own transactions, shows a chart and a table, can be limited to a period, and downloads as CSV.
Household budgeting
- Monthly category trend: spend by category, month by month.
- Top expense categories: what you spent most on.
- 80/20 category analysis: the few categories behind most of your spending.
Saving and FIRE
- Savings rate by month: income, expense and the share you kept.
- Spend as % of income: each category against that month’s income.
Cash flow
- Net cash flow: money in minus money out, with a running balance.
- Average daily burn: what you spend per day.
- Day-of-week pattern: which weekday your spending peaks on.
Debt
- EMI and loan burden: repayments per month and their share of income.
- Credit-card fees and interest: GST, markup, fees and interest billed to your cards.
- Credit-card share of spend: whether more spending is moving onto cards.
Subscriptions
- Recurring charges: every charge flagged as recurring.
- Subscription cost, annualised: subscription spending ranked, with a yearly estimate.
Tax and GST
- GST and ITC-eligible spend: input-tax-credit spend and the GST inside it.
- Business vs personal: how your spend splits.
- Tax-deductible expenses: deductible spend by category.
Fraud and anomaly checks
- Outlier transactions: expenses far above their category’s norm.
- Possible duplicate charges: the same amount, merchant and account within two days.
- Foreign-currency spend: expenses in other currencies and the rates applied.
Merchants
- Top merchants by spend: the 50 merchants you pay most.
- Merchant visit frequency: where you shop most often.
- New merchants per month: merchants you paid for the first time.
Accounts and categories
- Account net position: money in against money out by account.
- Uncategorised aging: how long unsorted spend has been waiting.
- Budget vs actual: each budget against what was spent.
How to use it
Pick the period at the top, choose a report from the list or the dropdown, and read the headline figures before the table. Rows with a View link open the matching transactions, so a surprising number can be checked in a click.
